We are fast approaching the shortest day of the year, and sunset seems to be just after lunch! I was down at Kimmeridge Bay yesterday to try and take advantage of the winter light.
What looks like lovely evening light was shot at 3.20pm and the dramatic moody image, which was shot at sunset was only 40 minutes later! You have to work fast when the light changes as quickly as this, which is why I went for a recce of the beach before lunch, compass in hand so I could work out where the sun would set on the horizon.
