To wrap up a busy week in the office, I get treated to a day shooting the 18ft Skiff Solent GP. With a slow start to the wind, just prior to the first start it picked up to a healthy 18 knots from the Southwest. I love Cowes Week, and once you get past the debauchery in the beer tents, you'll notice there's some great action on the water, and I don't mean the hundreds of RIBs descending on Town Quay. The X-Boat fleet is both well attended and much less raucous than other classes, makes for nice photos too. .. Read more >>
